Formerly active as a tugboat and bowser in the port of Hamburg, the MS Sylvia now chugs along the Spree as an excursion steamer in her old age. In a blissful shanty atmosphere, the 20-strong SIGNUM Consulting team enjoyed the late summer hours, including supporting drinks and buffet.
- From the Fischerinsel in Berlin/Mitte, we cruised rocking along the shore, past popular clubs in prime waterfront locations, high spirited party people as well as houseboats with their own “front gardens”. From Rummelsburg Bay, we then headed to the government district – an impressive backdrop, even from a water perspective.
- Highlight of the trip were congratulations of our managing director and company founder Mark Mayo on his 25th business year – also our colleague was appreciated for her twelve years of work at SIGNUM Consulting.
- After a successful turning maneuver at the Spreebogen we went back to the lock at the Jannowitzbrücke. On the return trip, the galley service was switched to self-service, which resulted in amazing mixed drinks and brought the evening to a cheerful close.
We are already looking forward to the next boat trip. Ahoi.
